PPS: I'd also like to stick without using retroarch, not64, or any other emulator. I'd like to use the USA rom, if at all possible. and I'd prefer to not use that version for the game. PS: I've checked out another thread on this forum as their issue was similar to mine, but their solution was using the Japanese rom. This game’s success led to three sequels: Super Smash Bros. If there's anything I'm missing or any alternate methods to check out, I'm all ears.

I'm also using Phacox's Injector 1.1.4 to create the install and I'm using Wii U USB Helper to obtain the bases. The game will either freeze at the Hal Laboratories screen or freeze early on during the intro. I've used Sin and Punishment, but that's also not worked for me. I've followed the instructions on this compatibility list (since I can't post links, googling " Wii U N64 Injection" will yield the list I used) and it hasn't worked for me. The only game that's evaded my grasp is Super Smash Bros. I've already hacked my Wii U and I've installed many native N64 roms successfully. I've been stuck for a while trying to get Super Smash Bros.
